THANK YOU Alison for your comment left on my last blog... I made me search and learn more and find out that I can add blogs that don't have "join" feature to my list of blogs to read. Sooo much better. I just have to work out how to get Google Reader to preview them like my blog reader.
I have never kept a journal and have sometimes regretted it - especially when I am learning something new. I thought it would be a good idea to record my journey on the road to learning to sew and blogging is an ideal way to keep my thoughts organised and to remember how far I have come - hopefully :-). This is my first *real* foray into sewing and my first attempt at blogging.
You're welcome! I just couldn't understand where email came in as I never get any. :) I have my google reader set up with different categories for ease of reading and it's so much better than visting every blog every day.
ReplyDeleteOh & another thing....I found the link on google reader to subscribe to blogs and bookmarked it. Then, when I want to sub to a blog, I just have to open it and click the bookmark. Voila!
ReplyDeleteAlison - you have it all sorted. Thanks for the advice. I may have to get some tutoring from you if I can't work it out!
ReplyDeleteThanks
When I want to subscribe to a blog that does not offer RSS feed, I do this: Go to the blog home page, copy the web address, go to google reader, hit the red SUBSCRIBE button at upper left, paste in the address, hit the Add button.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the "word" verification that's required after I write a comment. It seems I'm always hitting the circular icon to see if it will show me letters that I can actually read.
